Rooted in sustainability

Sustainability is a core part of the Greenyard 2030 Strategy and has been at the heart of our company since the very beginning.

Greenyard’s Sustainability Roadmap for 2025 defines how the Group will realize its ambition to become a driving force in the transition to healthier lifestyles and more sustainable food chains, including 100% recyclable packaging, lower water footprint, emissions reduction, and minimizing food waste, all while ensuring responsible sourcing.

Aligning with the Group’s Sustainability Roadmap allows us to stay ahead of future requirements, from plastic reduction to food waste mitigation.

As an industry leader, we view our commitment to sustainability as a driving force for a healthier future for both people and the planet.

We are engaged

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation‘s mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. Seald Sweet is contributing to their mission by donating funds through lemons with a limited edition packaging from June to October 2023.  Help us fight childhood cancer and donate to our Fundraiser today.

Children Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids in the U.S. and Canada. Seald Sweet contributed to funding critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care during a two-month campaign featuring limited packaging on Mandarins in 2019.

During COVID-19, many families found themselves in need of fresh food. Seald Sweet supported the Food Lion’s campaign as the only fresh produce company and donated  250,000 pieces of fruit to help fight hunger. Through Food Lion Feeds, more than 500 million meals have been donated since 2014 and is the company is committed to donating 1 billion more meals by 2025.

In 2020 Seald Sweet started a fundraiser for Brighter Bites during United Fresh Live. We raised $15,000 among attendees and company matching. Brighter Bites is a nonprofit that delivers fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families’ hands.

Seald Sweet donated $10,000 to benefit US Military Families through South African Summer Citrus via the Fisher House Foundation, supporting wounded service members’ housing and military children’s scholarships. The Fisher House Foundation provides “comfort homes” at major medical centers for wounded service members and their families.
